Politique de confidentialité

En vigueur à compter du 28 septembre 2026

Ce document est publié uniquement en anglais. Le texte anglais fait foi.

This policy explains what GreenMind Media Inc. collects when you play Dawn of Irkalla or use this website, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect what is needed to run the game, and we do not sell it.

Your GreenMind account is shared across our products and is also covered by the GreenMind Privacy Policy. This policy describes what is specific to this game.

1. What we collect

Account information. The game signs you in through your platform account (Steam, for example) using Epic Online Services, and creates a game account for you with us. If you play without a GreenMind account, that game account holds no email address and no name of its own. If you link a GreenMind account, or sign in to this website with one, we also hold the email address and name from the account you sign in to GreenMind with (a Google account, for example) and an identifier from the authentication provider. Only you, and the GreenMind staff who need to, can see those. We do not receive or store your password.

Your public name. Other players see you by a public name: the one you chose for your GreenMind account if you have chosen one, otherwise your Steam name, otherwise a name we generate from your account. When you sign in with Steam we read your Steam name from Steam and keep a copy, refreshed at most once a day. A Steam name that imitates GreenMind or its staff, or that has a word in it our filter does not allow, is not used.

Game account identifiers. When you sign in to the game we store the identifiers Epic Online Services gives us: your product user id and the deployment, product and sandbox it belongs to, the type and identifier of the external account you signed in with (a platform account such as Steam), and the platform and device type you are playing on.

What you do in the game. Your progression, levels, unlocks and skill trees; the cards, items, currency and cosmetics you hold; your decks, inventory and crafting; the realm you play in; and per-match records: the character and class you played, whether you died and to what, points, experience, treasure and shards earned, and the items found. We also keep counters of the things the game tracks about a player.

Multiplayer session data. Which sessions you joined, who else was in them, the name you played under, and what our servers need to set up and settle a match.

Player-hosted matches. A match may be hosted on one player's computer, with the others connecting to it through Epic Online Services' peer-to-peer networking. Depending on how that connection is made, the players in a match may be able to see each other's network address. We do not store it.

Voice chat. If you use voice chat, your voice is carried in real time to the other players in the channel by Epic Online Services. We do not record or store it. You can turn voice chat, or just your microphone, off in the game's settings.

Friends. The game shows you your friends from the platform you play on (your Steam friends, for example) so that you can invite them into a party or a game. That list comes from your platform through Epic Online Services while you play, and we do not keep a copy of it.

GreenMind friends and messages. If you add friends through your GreenMind account, we store that friends list, the friend requests you send and receive, the players you block, the status you choose, and the direct messages you and your friends send each other. These belong to your account rather than to this game, so they are the same in every GreenMind game and on our websites, and the GreenMind Privacy Policy describes them in full. While you play, we hold that you are online in Dawn of Irkalla and what the game says you are doing, for as long as you are connected.

Reports. If you report a player or a message from the game, we keep who you reported, the reason, what you wrote to us, and a copy of what there was to see: the name and status they were showing and, for a message, that message and the few either side of it. The GreenMind Privacy Policy describes who reads a report and what can come of it.

What you type or choose. Names you give yourself, your decks and your realms, and anything else you enter that other players can see.

Linked services. If you connect a Discord account, we store the identifiers and profile details Discord gives us (your Discord user id, username, display name, avatar and banner, and the email address on the account and whether Discord has verified it) so that the integration can act for you.

Legal acceptances. Which documents you accepted, which revision, and when. This is why the record exists: to be able to answer later whether you agreed to the terms as they stood on a given day.

Support requests. If you write to us through the support form, we keep the contact email you give, what you wrote, which website it came from, and your account if you were signed in. Each request is also posted to a Discord channel our staff use, so that someone picks it up. That post carries your message but never your email address, and anything in your message that looks like an email address is struck out of it.

Operational logs. Ordinary server logs, which may include IP addresses, request times and error details, kept for security and debugging.

Crash reports. If the game stops working, it sends us a report about the crash and tells you that it has. The report holds what the program was doing at the moment it stopped, the game's own log from that session, which version you were playing, and details of the computer you were playing on: its processor and graphics card, the operating system, how much memory it has, and how long the game had been running. If the crash reporter asked you to describe what happened, what you wrote is in it too.

We read crash reports to find and fix faults, and for nothing else. The report as the game sent it is kept for 90 days and then deleted. What we read out of it and keep for longer has the identifying parts taken out first: the name of your computer account, the command line the game was started with, and the folders it was installed in. The identifier the crash reporter attaches, which says that two reports came from the same installation, is replaced with a one-way fingerprint that cannot be turned back into it. That is what lets us see how many players a fault affects without knowing which players they are.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not build advertising profiles.

2. Why we hold it

To run the game: to authenticate you, to save your progress, to match you with other players and run sessions, to award and settle rewards, to operate leaderboards and seasons, to support the companion website, to keep the game secure and detect cheating, to answer support requests, and to diagnose faults. And, only if you allow it, to see how this website is used (clause 6). We have no other purpose for it.

3. What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share or rent it to third parties for their own purposes, and we do not use it to target advertising at you.

4. What other players see

Other players can see the things a multiplayer game shows: your public name, the character you are playing, what you do in a match, and where you appear on any leaderboard or ranking. Anything you type where others can read it, or say in voice chat, reaches them. In a match hosted on a player's computer, the players in it may be able to see your network address. Do not put anything in those places you would not want a stranger to have.

Your GreenMind friends can see whether you are online, that you are in Dawn of Irkalla, what the game says you are doing, your status message, and when you were last connected. Choosing Invisible shows you as offline. A direct message is seen by the friend you sent it to. A player you report is not told that you reported them. Your product user id from Epic Online Services is shown to your GreenMind friends, to the other player on a GreenMind friend request between you, to the other player in a direct message thread with you, and to a player who has blocked you, so that their game can recognise you among the friends their platform lists and invite you to a party. It is never shown in search results.

Your email address, and the name your sign-in provider gives your account, are never shown to other players. GreenMind staff can technically access stored data, because it is our infrastructure; we access it only where necessary to operate the game: investigating a fault, responding to support, or acting on a report under our Terms of Service.

5. Service providers

We use third parties to run the game, and they process data on our behalf and under our instructions. Today that means Google Firebase, which authenticates GreenMind accounts; Epic Online Services, which provides sign-in, friends, parties, sessions and voice chat for the game, and receives metrics about each session from it, such as the display name and account identifier of each player; Valve's Steam Web API, from which we read your Steam name; our hosting, storage and database infrastructure; and Discord, which carries the posts announcing support requests and, where you have connected it, your Discord integration. Visits to this website are counted with Umami, software we run on our own servers, so no analytics company receives them. Where you play through a storefront such as Steam, that platform handles your relationship with it under its own policy, not this one.

We may disclose information where required by law, or where necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of GreenMind, our players, or the public.

6. This website

This website uses cookies and browser storage only to keep you signed in and to remember your choices, such as the realm you last picked; the GreenMind Privacy Policy lists each one.

Our trailers are YouTube videos, and our Discord server has a widget here. They load only if you accept them in the cookie banner, or press play on one; until then nothing is requested from YouTube or Discord. Once loaded, Google and Discord receive your IP address and set cookies of their own, under their own privacy policies. You can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings at the foot of the page.

If you allow analytics in the same banner, this website counts your visits on our own server: the pages you view, the site that sent you, your browser, operating system, device type, screen size and language, and the country and city your IP address places you in. It sets no cookie, does not keep your IP address, and cannot link a visit to your account or to what you do in the game. Until you allow it, nothing is counted, and you can withdraw it from Cookie settings at any time.

7. Where data is held

Data is stored on servers operated for GreenMind Media Inc., and may be processed in Canada, the United States, or wherever our infrastructure providers operate. Where the law of the place you live restricts sending personal data abroad, we rely on the safeguards it recognises, as the GreenMind Privacy Policy describes.

8. Retention and deletion

We keep your account and its game data for as long as your account exists.

You can delete your account yourself: sign in to this website and use "Delete my account" on your dashboard. If you play without a GreenMind account, ask through the support form instead, and we will confirm the account is yours before acting on it. Deleting an account erases it in every GreenMind product, at once and for good: every game account on it with all its progress, items and match seats, your sign-in links and Discord connection, and everything else attached to it. The account deletion page sets it all out in one place.

Two things survive, on purpose. An empty record that the account existed stays, holding your legal acceptances, because they are the record of what was agreed and when. Your support requests stay without your contact address and, for ordinary requests, without what you wrote, as the record that the deletion was asked for and done. We also keep anything the law requires us to.

The matches you played in remain in the other players' histories, without you in them. Direct messages your friends sent you remain in their own view of the conversation, without what you wrote. Reports you made, or that were made about you, remain as a record that something was reported, without what you wrote and without your name. Database backups are overwritten within 7 days, and server logs within 30.

Crash reports are not attached to your account and do not name you, so deleting your account does not reach them. They go on their own timetable instead: the report the game sent after 90 days, and what we read out of it after a year.

Counted visits to this website are not attached to your account either, and are deleted after 24 months.

If we retire the game, we may delete the game data with it. See clause 4 of the Terms of Service.

9. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and you may ask us to delete your account. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your personal information: to access it, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to object to its processing. Ask through the support form or write to us, and we will do what the law requires. The GreenMind Privacy Policy sets out how we handle a request, and how to complain to a data protection authority if you are not satisfied.

10. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect stored data. No service can promise perfect security, and we cannot guarantee it. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

11. Children

The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it. Players under the age of majority where they live need a parent or guardian to accept the Terms of Service for them.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above changes when we do, and we may ask you to accept the revised policy before playing again. Where a change materially reduces your privacy protections we will make reasonable efforts to tell you. Continuing to play after a change takes effect means you accept the revised policy.

13. Contact

GreenMind Media Inc. Questions about this policy, or a request about your data, go through the support form or to greenmindmediagroup@gmail.com.
