Privacy Policy
Effective 9 September 2026
This policy explains what GreenMind Media Inc. collects when you play Dawn of Irkalla or use this website, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect what is needed to run the game, and we do not sell it.
Your GreenMind account is shared across our products and is also covered by the GreenMind Privacy Policy. This policy describes what is specific to this game.
1. What we collect
Account information. When you sign in we receive your email address, your display name, and an identifier from the authentication provider. We do not receive or store your password.
Game account identifiers. When you link a game account we store the identifiers the online service gives us: your Epic Online Services product user id and the deployment, product and sandbox it belongs to, the type and identifier of the external account you signed in with (a platform account such as Steam), and the platform and device type you are playing on.
What you do in the game. Your progression, levels, unlocks and skill trees; the cards, items, currency and cosmetics you hold; your decks, inventory and crafting; the realm you play in; and per-match records — the character and class you played, whether you died and to what, points, experience, treasure and shards earned, and the items found. We also keep counters of the things the game tracks about a player.
Multiplayer session data. Which sessions you joined, who else was in them, and what the server needs to run and settle a match, including the network address used to connect.
What you type or choose. Names you give yourself, your decks and your realms, and anything else you enter that other players can see.
Linked services. If you connect Discord, we store the identifiers that link the two accounts, so that the integration can act for you.
Legal acceptances. Which documents you accepted, which revision, and when. This is why the record exists: to be able to answer later whether you agreed to the terms as they stood on a given day.
Operational logs and diagnostics. Ordinary server logs, which may include IP addresses, request times and error details, kept for security and debugging; and crash or error reports the game sends when something goes wrong.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not build advertising profiles.
2. Why we hold it
To run the game: to authenticate you, to save your progress, to match you with other players and run sessions, to award and settle rewards, to operate leaderboards and seasons, to support the companion website, to keep the game secure and detect cheating, to answer support requests, and to diagnose faults. We have no other purpose for it.
3. What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share or rent it to third parties for their own purposes, and we do not use it to target advertising at you.
4. What other players see
Other players can see the things a multiplayer game shows: your in-game name, the character you are playing, what you do in a match, and where you appear on any leaderboard or ranking. Anything you type where others can read it is visible to them. Do not put anything in those places you would not want a stranger to have.
Your email address is not shown to other players. GreenMind staff can technically access stored data, because it is our infrastructure; we access it only where necessary to operate the game — investigating a fault, responding to support, or acting on a report under our Terms of Service.
5. Service providers
We use third parties to run the game, and they process data on our behalf and under our instructions. Today that means Google Firebase for authentication, Epic Online Services for game identity and online features, our hosting, storage and database infrastructure, and — where you have connected it — Discord. Where you play through a storefront such as Steam, that platform handles your relationship with it under its own policy, not this one.
We may disclose information where required by law, or where necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of GreenMind, our players, or the public.
6. Where data is held
Data is stored on servers operated for GreenMind Media Inc., and may be processed in Canada, the United States, or wherever our infrastructure providers operate. By playing you consent to that processing.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep your account and its game data for as long as your account exists. Ask us to delete your account and we remove your account record and the game data attached to it, other than what we must keep — records of acceptance, records needed to enforce a ban, and anything the law requires us to retain.
Some data survives the deletion of your account because it is not only yours: a match record involves everyone who was in it. Backups and logs may retain copies for a limited period before being overwritten in the ordinary course.
If we retire the game, we may delete the game data with it. See clause 4 of the Terms of Service.
8. Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and you may ask us to delete your account. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your personal information — to access it, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to object to its processing. Write to us and we will do what the law requires.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect stored data. No service can promise perfect security, and we cannot guarantee it. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
10. Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above changes when we do, and we may ask you to accept the revised policy before playing again. Where a change materially reduces your privacy protections we will make reasonable efforts to tell you. Continuing to play after a change takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
